Who We Are
Founded in 2000 as the first English Language learning centre, IDEL is the oldest private English Language institution in Kurdistan Region. Since the beginning of its foundation, the staff of IDEL has successfully taught a large number of students and has built a strong reputation for the quality of service.
IDEL is accredited by the Ministry of Education of Kurdistan Regional Government. It delivers services related to teaching English both to adults and children and teacher training programmes based on international criteria.
IDEL is an authorized Pearson VUE Test Centre – The UK offering the world’s international exams and tests to its learners and test-takers.
IDEL is an authorised TOEFL iBT centre from ETS – USA and offers TOEFL iBT test on a monthly basis.
IDEL is also an authorised Aptis test centre from the British Council and provides the well-known Aptis Test to its English language learners.
Furthermore, IDEL is also Global English – UK partner and offers TOLES Legal test for legal officers, lawyers and legal translators.
Our English teachers are qualified, experienced and equipped with advanced and effective teaching techniques and strategies. They are holders of different national and international degrees in the field of education such as Master Degree in ELT, TEFL and TESOL certificates. Each teacher is highly trained and possesses a rich experience that makes the learning process enjoyable, effective and memorable.
Our Mission
IDEL started as a small project running only adults’ language classes. Nonetheless, it gradually expanded its scope of services to include courses and study programmes both for adults and children, teacher training programmes and accredited international test centre.
It is our mission at IDEL to deliver quality English language and teacher training programmes in a personal, friendly, caring and positive learning environment. We genuinely care about our learners and strive to provide each and everyone with an enjoyable and worthwhile experience. We aim to:
- Enhance learners’ communicative skills and promote their understanding of the cultural background of the languages they wish to learn.
- Provide the best learning process and environment that meet international criteria in the field of teaching and education.
- Prepare students for further study, career opportunities and for internationally recognized tests such as IELTS and TOEFL.
