Reading Comprehension

Read and choose the right word with its underlined definition

We're building a set for the school play, and we need to get some things that you hold in your hand and use to do a particular job to help us. We need a (67) long, thin tool with metal teeth for cutting wood and we need some small, thin pieces of metal, sharp at one end and flat at the other,  that you use to hold wood together. We should also get a tool with a handle and a heavy metal end that you use to hit nails into wood. I'll bring in a long, thin band marked with centimeters, that you use to see how long something is. When we start to decorate the set, we'll need a tube with a handle that turns like a wheel, used to roll paint onto a wall. I think that it'll be useful to have a tray so that it doesn't get  all over the place at the front of the theatre where actors perform a play.
